You should use the dipc.install script if you are upgrading from any of the previous versions of DIPC: v0.1, v0.15, v0.15pl1, v0.3, v0.35, v0.9, v0.9.1 or v1.0. The older DIPC files are not needed, and you can delete their directories from your system. IMPORTANT NOTE: You should install this version of DIPC over a clean Linux kernel tree, not the one already patched with an earlier version. IMPORTANT NOTE: The files /etc/dipc.conf and /etc/dipc.allow are overwritten when this version of DIPC is installed. Make sure you edit them again!
